Masterkey Wk 9 — All About the Truth

In the movie “A Few Good Men”, Jack Nicholson’s character had a vision of the truth that was very real for him; to defend his country and freedom at all costs.  Learning the true meaning of truth this week has shown me how his truth was not truth at all, but a vision he had conceived to allow him to do his job without guilt.

Master Key 9 – 6 & 7 explains:                                                                                     6.  To think correctly, accurately, we must know the “Truth.”  The truth then is the underlying principle in every business or social relation.  It is a condition precedent to every right action. To know the truth, to be sure, to be confident, affords a satisfaction beside which no other is at all comparable; it is the only solid ground in a world of doubt, conflict and danger.                                                                                                                                    7.  To know the Truth is to be in harmony with the Infinite and Omnipotent power (God).  To know the truth, therefore, to connect yourself with a power which is irresistible and which will sweep away every kind of discord, inharmony, doubt or error of any kind, because the “Truth is mighty and will Prevail.”

It goes on to say that actions that are not in harmony with Truth will result in strife and tension and eventual failure.

So my take on this is that if I am living the Truth, my actions are in harmony with the Infinite Power, but if I am not living the Truth, then I am living a lie, my actions are self seeking, not in harmony. Sounds pretty simple, right?  You might ask, ” how do I know I’m choosing the Truth, is it simply trial and error?”

The realization that the “I” within each of us is our spiritual connection with the Omnipotent Power and that we choose the thoughts the “I” receives is crucial to living the life of Truth.  The affirmation ” I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy” will bring about harmonious conditions because it is in strict accordance with the truth.  So when you hold this affirmation in your thoughts every form of error or discord must disappear.

I have been using this affirmation constantly this week.  The difference I have noticed is my discernment of the truth has become much easier.  If I ever have a doubt ” I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy”.

Have a great week everyone and thank you for being a positive part of my life.

Master Key WK 8  —  Connecting The Dots

I must confess that I have been having a rough time talking to the guy in the mirror.  The comments of the guides on the webcast hit home when they talked about how encouraged they were of the many stories of people’s ah ha moments and the growth they have seen, but also how surprised they were at the people that were not meeting requirements to stay in the course.  I am afraid I fit into the latter category, but I will have that rectified before we resume in Dec.

Week eight was a week of connecting the dots for me; reinforcing the reasoning behind the exercises we have been given thus far.  Reviewing 5 of the 7 Laws of the Mind and associating them with our exercises was very enlightening. From week one designing our DMP’s, doing chores by a set time, applying colours and shape, learning to sit, relax and imagine, reading 3 times a day, etc I have been unknowingly using the proven Laws of the Mind.

The mental diet exercise and the opinion exercise have brought an awareness to me of the way I actually DO think.  The most humbling exercise for me is talking to the guy in the mirror, but it has been the most enlightening.  It has shown me that my actions do not always align with my good intentions.

I know that the only way to realize my desires and goals of my DMP is to learn to utilize my imagination, hold those images in my mind and the power of my subconscious mind will provide an action plan to manifest every detail.  This is the road I wish to travel, by the Law of Practice I will learn to stay out of the ditch.

Still Chipping  — I always keep my promises.

Master Key WK 7 — Idealize; Visualize; Materialize

The very first thing I need to do is to acknowledge the power found in the Scroll marked II in ” The Greatest Salesman in the World”;  ” I greet this day with love in my heart”.  I truly believe if the world would live by this one scroll, the results would be amazing.  I have noticed the difference in the way strangers I meet have reacted to me since reading this scroll.  I always get a smile, direct eye contact and quite often a greeting, either verbal or just a nod.  Love is truly a powerful force.

This week Haanel focuses on visualization.  There are three steps to achieving your DMP in life.  Step one is idealization, the most important step.  For without the plan of the finished product, we wonder aimlessly led by whatever influences cross our path, never headed toward an end result we desire.  Once we discover our plan by thinking of our true desire and purpose, and write it down, the process can begin to take shape.  Next, comes the process of visualization.  This is the process of picturing the finished product in your mind;  the person you have become along with realization of the finished plan you wrote down.  We must see the picture of the finished plan more and more complete in every detail; then and only then, will the means to manifest this plan become evident.

So often, in my life I have tried to think of ways to eliminate the lacks in my life.  I now understand that all I was doing was sending a message of not having to my subconscious mind, bringing more of what I did not want. By visualizing the abundant life that is now mine through faith, the “subby” has no choice but to manifest every detail of that life into existence.

Over Sixty years of cement to remove.  Feeling lighter everyday.

Master Key Wk 6 — The Power of Focus

When Haanel talked about the difficulty of focusing on one thing for only 10 minutes, I have to admit that I chuckled to myself believing that anyone could hold a thought for 10 minutes.  Well, I think I might have made it to 4 or 5 minutes after a week of practice.  Having an object (photograph) to study first and then recalling the photo was much easier.  Again helping to reinforce the importance of each exercise that we have been doing since Week 1.

“Electricity is a form of motion and it’s effect will depend upon the Mechanism to which it is attached”  Wk 6 paragraph 3. Our nervous system is the equivalent of an electrical circuit in which force is originated.  The rest of our perfectly made body from the spinal cord (transmission lines) to the blood supply keeping all of the components revitalized and healthy and finally to the skin clothing the entire mechanism is truly a  “Temple of the living God” and the individual “I”, the Universal (Subconscious) Mind has been given control over this mechanism.  As we have been taught every thought that we continually present to the unconscious mind will be manifested perfectly, whether constructive, getting us closer to our DMP or destructive, moving us farther away; therefore the power of focus is so very important to harness so I can decide what “I” will to be.

On a personal note, I can’t believe how many opinions this opinionated person has been caught thinking.  I have found out that I have just as many, if not more, opinions  as anyone else.  I may not express them as often, but I still definitely think them.  Surprising what observation of myself reveals.

And by the way, being honest to the man in the mirror is proving to be a very humbling exercise. I sometimes have a rough time looking him in the eyes, let alone telling him that I love him.  The more I perform this exercise the more I realize that the man looking back at me is a perfect creation made by a creator with unconditional love. I need to forgive and move on realizing that in my conscious mind I will never gain perfection. All I can do is continue to learn and practice focusing on the thoughts that influence that perfect creation.

Continuing to chip away.

Master Key Week 5

These words really jumped off the page as I read them in this weeks Master Key reading.  I have always considered myself a Christian, but to tell you the truth, I have always had a rough time understanding some of the verses in the Bible.  These words above I always believed to be when the teachings of the old testament became real (flesh) with the birth of Jesus.

When I read these word in the context they are used in Wk 5 it was a revelation to me.  I know we have been learning that we are what we think and we have control over what we think, but these words really sealed the deal for me.  I do believe that I am a spiritual being and previously believed that life just happened, god would guide me and I was just to graciously accept whatever happened.  I always wanted to serve God, but really didn’t understand how to.  Trying to be “good” and lead a “good” life and asking for forgiveness when I messed up was my idea of serving God.

I find it fascinating that we have been learning all along of the infinite connection we have through our unconscious mind to a supreme power,( for me, God), but it has taken this one short sentence that I recognized from the Bible to cement this awareness into my conscious mind.  The Bible also warns us about our spoken words, and how powerful they are.  They can be a blessing or a curse.

So we DO have a choice of the words we speak to our unconscious mind and those “WORDS WILL BECOME FLESH”.  Be very careful of the words you speak, for although we all have the ability to connect with and serve this awesome power it only happens by choice through the words and thoughts our “subby” receives.

Still chipping away!!

I always keep my Promises
