Wk 16 – Where’s The Love

One of our exercises in week 16 was to look for and do kindnesses.  For me this became a mission, because to be honest, I did not expect to see to many examples.  Now hold on; Mark, Davene, Sarah and the rest of you guides, before you email (comment) on that negative, OLD BLUEPRINT comment, I do realize where that came from, but I do need to be honest.

Well, to my delight, I was overwhelmed with the amount of kindness that people show each other everyday, it was just me not noticing.  No different than when you go and buy that brand new car in the color that “no one else has” and in the first week as you drive around your city you find that there are a lot of people driving the exact same model and color of vehicle you picked to be unique.  They were always there, they just weren’t there for you because you were not aware of them.  The same thing with the acts of kindness I observed.  Did people start being more kind to each other this particular week; no, I made a conscious decision to look for the virtue I desired to see and “PRESTO”, there was kindness everywhere.

The fact that over 300 of us were observing and doing acts of kindness all week, over 6000 were recorded.  The wonderful thing about this is now that I am aware, I know that I will forever see kindness where ever I go for the rest of my life.  What kind of world would we live in if more people started looking for and performing acts of kindness daily.  I don’t know about you but I am ready to find out.

“You watch your mouth young man”.  A statement I heard on more than one occasion as a youngster, trying much too hard to impress my brothers who were 9 and 12 years older.  If I would have understood the power of the words that I was so carelessly rolling off of my tongue, I would have taken that warning much more seriously.

Words have the power to build a man up or cut a man down. In the Bible, Proverbs 18:21 states “the tongue can bring life or death; those who love to talk will reap the consequences”.

Throughout 15, Haanel teaches that words are the first manifestation of thought … the vessels which thought is carried.  He warns that we cannot escape from the pictures we incessantly photograph on the mind, and this photography of erroneous conceptions is exactly what is being done by the use of words, when we use any form of language which is not identified with our welfare.  If we wish abundance in our lives, we can afford to think abundance only, and as words are only thoughts taking form, we must be especially careful to use nothing but constructive and harmonious language, which when finally crystallized into objective forms, will prove to our advantage.

Wow!!  You see, for me, this way of thinking put a whole new view on “words”.  I learned how words that I spoke could bring joy to other peoples lives and help them to feel great about themselves, but I also learned how selfish, unchecked and carelessly used words can bring heartache and pain and take away a persons self confidence.  And the worst thing is that all to often those unchecked words are spoken to the ones we care the most about.  With age, comes wisdom and I now make a conscious effort to always “watch my tongue” when talking to others.  What I had not realized was the words that I was saying to me were having such an adverse effect on the outcome of my life.  I have always had a great sense of humor and love to make people laugh.  The problem was that a lot of my humor was talking about my faults and bad experiences in life; transmitting thoughts of lack, not abundance to my subconscious mind.  As the Good Book says “words can bring life or death; we reap what we sow”; my translation.

Thank you MK for helping me to see that the way I think (talk to myself) is exactly what will eventually manifest into my life.  Thank you also to all of you that are on this journey and are willing to share your Master key experiences.  I can not begin to tell you what a major impact you have had on my life.

Keep loving yourself and sharing that love with all you meet.

WK 14 – Believe and Be Set Free

Several years ago, I attended an MLM training where Bob Proctor was the key note speaker. Now I’m not sure how many of you have heard of Bob, but he is a true product of the teachings of the book “Think and Grow Rich”.  The whole purpose of him being there was to teach us the importance of correct thinking.  Now he only had 2.5 hours to try to explain the idea that we are the product of our own thoughts.  He carried a very tattered and worn copy of “Think and Grow Rich” and stated that he had been studying and using the methods and teachings in the book for over 25 years.  He did a few things on stage that were very thought provoking, things that are just now making complete sense to me.  He said that money, like everything else that existed, was nothing more than the manifestation of thought. In fact, at one point he took a twenty dollar bill out of his pocket and burned it, then explained that the money was still there, it just returned to the universal substance and could be brought back to physical form again by proper conscious thought.

I have to admit, I was not ready to hear this.  In fact I was thinking to myself ” What hospital did this guy escape from”.  However what Bob’s talk did do, was to instill in me a curiosity to find out more about him and the book “Think and Grow Rich”.  I believe his mission was accomplished.  Up to that day I had read one book cover to cover.  Over the past seven years I have read over 100 books, taken multiple courses and listened to many speakers in search of understanding the relationship between thought and material wealth.

When the student is ready, the teacher appears.  I still would not have been ready for Haanel’s teaching in Part Fourteen if I had not had the thirteen weeks of preparation that preceded through the MKMMA program.  I have learned that any thought I can hold in my conscious mind will be accepted by my subconscious mind, which is in unison with God (the Universal mind), and will be manifested into physical reality.  We have been given proof through the 7 Laws of the Mind and that these Laws, like any law, work with or without our knowledge.  Each week my mind has been expanded a little more, accepting a few more truths.

This week I have built new brain cells of recognition of the “universal substance” Mr. Proctor talked about all those years ago.  In 14-7, Haanel explains,”We know that scientists have resolved matter into an immense number of molecules; these molecules have been resolved into atoms, and the atoms into electrons.  The discovery of electrons in high vacuum glass tubes containing fused terminals of hard metal, indicates conclusively that these electrons fill all space that they exist everywhere, that  they are omnipresent.  They fill all material bodies and occupy the whole of what we call empty space.  This, then, is the Universal Substance from which all things proceed.”  He goes on to say in 14-8 that these electrons would remain electrons unless  directed where to go to be assembled into atoms and molecules, and this director is The Universal Mind,in my case, God.  Electrons revolving around a center of force forming an atom; atoms uniting in exact mathematical ratios forming molecules, which unite with each other to form a multitude of compounds which unite to build the Universe.

So if you think of all that we have learned to this point, we have a direct connection  with the Universal Mind through our Subconscious Mind; in fact in 14-21 Haanel explains that the only difference between the subconscious and the Universal mind is one of degree.  They differ only as a drop of water differs from the ocean.  They are the same in kind and quality, the difference is one of degree only.  Since the subby is the link between the conscious and Universal mind, our Mission, should we choose to accept, is to control the thoughts that enter the subby and are manifested into the life we live.

Let me throw another thought out there.  If; everything that exists is a result of the Universal Mind acting upon the Universal Substance; the Universal Substance and the Universal Mind are omnipresent; and, we have a direct connection to the the Universal Mind through the conscious thoughts we send to our subconscious mind; then, wouldn’t it be safe to conclude that the ONLY reason anyone could have a lack in their lives would be due to the thoughts that are allowed to reach the subconscious mind.

HOW CAN WE NOT GET EXCITED about our MKMMA journey where we are all learning to control our conscious thought process.

How liberating to know that I am exactly where I am today because of the way I think.  If I wish to change, in the words of Napoleon Hill (Think and Grow Rich) “what ever the mind can conceive and believe, it can have”, I only have to change my thoughts that are being sent to my subconscious mind.

Believe and be set free!!

Week 13 – Old Blueprint Came Knocking

Just as Mark warned in our week 13 lesson, Complacency can slip in unannounced.  With the holiday season upon us I went from missing a few readings to missing a few exercises and all of a sudden, there he was, pre Sept. 27/15 Randy, with all the excuses. The old blueprint would have given up, gone back to that so called “comfort zone”.

Then they started to appear again. Blue rectangles, red circles, yellow squares and green triangles and guess what; I started to feel a comfort come over me. You see that old comfort zone no longer exists, it has been replaced with a new, exciting yearning that I just can’t let go of, to become one with my creator and experience the real “I”, .

As I thought to myself, how could this happen, Haanels words in 13:24 came to mind: “We have found that everything we get comes to us by the Law of Attraction.  A happy thought cannot exist in an unhappy consciousness; therefore the consciousness must change, and, as the consciousness changes, all conditions necessary to meet the changed consciousness must gradually change, in order to meet the requirements of the new situation”. For most people, their consciousness around the holiday season is one of happiness, and thus happiness is attracted into there lives; however, once the season has ended and we all have to go back to our lives, that happy consciousness disappears.  The same thing happened for me, visiting my children and grandchildren, enjoying the company of friends and the festivities of the season allowed me to completely let my guard down and still experience all of the joy of the season.  As soon as life started to get back to some form of normal the old fears and insecurities were back.  Thank God for MKMMA; the guardian is back at the gate of the universal mind, and I’m reading and doing the exercises that are helping me experience the real “I”.

Back on track.

Hope all of you had a wonderful holiday season!!

Masterkey Wk 12–Resetting our Set Point

IMG_6782WOW – —  I am not sure if I mentioned this before, but I have read many books on personal development.  Only now, since I have been a part of this mind altering  Master Key experience, have I realized how much untapped knowledge I have gained from these books.  In this weeks lesson Haanel tells us in paragraph 3. ” We know that thought is building for us the thing we think of and actually bringing it nearer, yet we find it difficult to banish fear, anxiety or discouragement, all of which are powerful thought force, and which continually send the things we desire further away, so that it is often one step forward and two steps back.”

In his book Psycho Cybernetics, Maxwell Maltz explains that the subconscious mind is like a thermostat.  The set point is our comfort range. We can decide that we do not like the life we are currently living and start working harder or put in more hours to gain the life we desire and we may see a substantial increase for a while, but before long fear and anxiety of being out of our comfort zone brings us right back to our former life.  So no matter how hard we try to change our circumstances outwardly, our subconscious mind brings us back to our safe place; the place where we do not have to worry about getting hurt or feeling uncomfortable.  I have been down this road several times in my life, never understanding why I always ended up sabotaging my positive results and ending up back living one check to next.

Haanel goes on to explain in paragraph 4 “the only way to keep from going backward is to keep going forward.  Eternal vigilance is the price of success.  There are three steps, and each one is absolutely essential.  You must first have the knowledge of your power; second, the courage to dare; third, the faith to do.”

Understanding the power we possess has become been a huge breakthrough for me.  I always realized that God lived within me, but never understood the significance of that.  Learning that we have access to Infinite power by living in harmony with natural laws and by simply learning how to think;  we can be, do or have anything is amazing.

Knowledge of the power available without the courage to act upon it renders that knowledge useless.  We need to be willing to step out of our safety zone and access the power we have learned about.  To know and not to act is not knowing at all.  This takes courage, a willingness to fail and learn, to be ridiculed and persevere, or in the words of Captain Kirk “to boldly go where no man has gone before”.  In my case it would be to boldly go where I have never been before.

Okay, so I have the knowledge and the courage to dare, but what is going to stop me from going back to my old self?  FAITH.  Realizing that as long as I persist and believe and have a clear-cut razor focus of my desired life it will be manifested into reality and become my new comfort zone.  As my coach so adeptly put it, “we need to get comfortable, with being uncomfortable”.

Continuing to chip away

Hope you all had an amazing week!!

Wk 11- You ARE a difference maker

In the preface to week 11, Haanel writes, “It is well, however, to remember that while every effect is the result of a cause, the effect in turn becomes a cause, which creates other effects, which in turn create still other causes; so that when you put the law of attraction into operation you must remember that you are starting a train of causation for good or otherwise which may have endless possibilities”.

When I read this it took me back to a talk Andy Andrews gave on his book “Mastering the Seven Decisions”.  He talked about “The Butterfly Effect”.  In 1963 it became known in a thesis, which stated a butterfly could flap it’s wings and the molecules of air that it moved could move more molecules, which moved more molecules and could potentially create a hurricane on the other side of the world.  Although this thesis was laughed at when originally presented to the academy of sciences, in the mid 90’s it was proven correct, not only with air but any form of moving matter, including people.  It became the Law of Sensitive Dependence Upon Initial Conditions and it works every time.  He goes on to tell the story of Norman Borlaug, a scientist, who in 1970 won the Nobel Peace Prize for the development of high yielding grains that had saved the lives of a billion people around the world.

Or was it Henry A. Wallace that was responsible for saving all of those lives.  In 1940, Wallace became Vice President of the United Sates and was responsible for setting up experimental stations in Mexico to improve the corn yield. One of the first scientists hired was Norman Borlaug.  Without this idea of improving corn yields, would Borlaug have developed the grains. So maybe Henry Wallace was the one responsible for saving all those lives.

….or was it George Washington Carver.  While at Iowa State, Carver would occasionally take a six year, Wallace with him on field trips and instilled in the boy a love for the study of plants. Wallace is credited with developing some of the first hybrid corn varieties.  So maybe George Washington Carver was the one responsible for saving the billion people

….  orrr was it Moses Carver, a farmer in a slave State that didn’t believe in slavery.  When his farm was raided by the KKK and Mary Washington and her baby son  were taken, Moses made a deal to trade his horse for the baby boy who had been taken, knowing that Mary had already been killed.  Moses and his wife raised the boy and gave him their name, George Washington Carver. so maybe it was Moses who was responsible for saving all those lives…. or maybe…

As you can see the number of events leading up to Norman Borlaug’s Nobel Prize could potentially go back to the beginning of time. So those days when you are feeling small and don’t believe you have any significance in this world, know this; every decision we make has an effect.

For me, the person that has quit this course more times than I care to express, the importance of guarding the creative, or subconscious mind by using our objective mind to ensure only thoughts that are in accordance with the 7 Laws of the Mind reach our subconscious has taken on a whole new importance.

I believe that each and every one of us are creating the future, not only for ourselves and our family, but for all mankind.   It is up to us to decide what effect each one of us will have.

Have a great week, my friends.  Thank you all for being part of my journey.

Still chipping!!

Masterkey Wk 10 — Application

In this weeks lesson I am reminded of the Chinese Proverb ” to know and not to act is not to know”.  Before I became involved in network marketing I can honestly say that the number of books I had read in my life time could be counted on one hand.  Since my involvement I have realized the need for knowledge, not only about the industry, but also about the proper mindset for doing this type of business.  I have read a countless number of books on both subjects and found myself always seeking more and more knowledge.  Now, there is nothing wrong with gaining knowledge, but somewhere along the line one needs to start applying that knowledge.

Scroll 3 tells us to be persistent.  Once we have the knowledge, we need to start acting on what we have learned. Now, we do live in a microwave world, and want and expect things to happen quickly; however as Mr. Mandino explains success comes to those who persist in doing the little things well.  Always taking one step at a time.  I believe this shows integrity.  A mentor in the mlm industry describes integrity in this way “doing the things you said you were going to do long after the feeling you said them in is gone”.  Scroll three says “I will avoid despair but if this disease of the mind should infect me then I will work on in despair. I will toil and I will endure.  I will ignore the obstacles at my feet and keep mine eyes on the goals above my head, for I know that where dry desert ends, green grass grows”.  I will persist until I succeed.  With my old blue print my integrity/persistence was quite often compromised by some very legitimate reasons, OKAY, not so legitimate, in fact I believe they are called  “excuses”.  Even today I can find reasons to not blog, not do the exercises. The difference today is that I realize that every cause (choice or decision) has an effect, good or bad.  I was always told the way to success is out of your comfort zone and if you are unwilling to go there you will never find success.  I now realize that it is possible to act outside of your comfort zone, but only for a limited time. With my old blueprint even though  I tried to improve myself, my subconscious mind would always bring me back to the safety of familiar results and feelings, never allowing me to stay out of my comfort zone.  With the MKMMA course I am learning how to establish a new comfort zone that is in line with my true desires and purpose.  As I convey this new comfort zone through thought to my subconscious mind, the Infinite power, will bring about all things necessary to keep me in this new comfort zone.  As I act, ways will appear to take me to my harmonious desires and purpose.

Chipping away a little cement each day, just as with each swing the axe chips away a little wood until the mighty oak falls, so to will the cement fall away to reveal the golden statue within by applying the knowledge  I am gaining each day.

I always keep my promises

Masterkey Wk 9 — All About the Truth

In the movie “A Few Good Men”, Jack Nicholson’s character had a vision of the truth that was very real for him; to defend his country and freedom at all costs.  Learning the true meaning of truth this week has shown me how his truth was not truth at all, but a vision he had conceived to allow him to do his job without guilt.

Master Key 9 – 6 & 7 explains:                                                                                     6.  To think correctly, accurately, we must know the “Truth.”  The truth then is the underlying principle in every business or social relation.  It is a condition precedent to every right action. To know the truth, to be sure, to be confident, affords a satisfaction beside which no other is at all comparable; it is the only solid ground in a world of doubt, conflict and danger.                                                                                                                                    7.  To know the Truth is to be in harmony with the Infinite and Omnipotent power (God).  To know the truth, therefore, to connect yourself with a power which is irresistible and which will sweep away every kind of discord, inharmony, doubt or error of any kind, because the “Truth is mighty and will Prevail.”

It goes on to say that actions that are not in harmony with Truth will result in strife and tension and eventual failure.

So my take on this is that if I am living the Truth, my actions are in harmony with the Infinite Power, but if I am not living the Truth, then I am living a lie, my actions are self seeking, not in harmony. Sounds pretty simple, right?  You might ask, ” how do I know I’m choosing the Truth, is it simply trial and error?”

The realization that the “I” within each of us is our spiritual connection with the Omnipotent Power and that we choose the thoughts the “I” receives is crucial to living the life of Truth.  The affirmation ” I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy” will bring about harmonious conditions because it is in strict accordance with the truth.  So when you hold this affirmation in your thoughts every form of error or discord must disappear.

I have been using this affirmation constantly this week.  The difference I have noticed is my discernment of the truth has become much easier.  If I ever have a doubt ” I am whole, perfect, strong, powerful, loving, harmonious and happy”.

Have a great week everyone and thank you for being a positive part of my life.

Still Chipping  —  more and more tools each week.

I always keep my promises

Master Key WK 8  —  Connecting The Dots

I must confess that I have been having a rough time talking to the guy in the mirror.  The comments of the guides on the webcast hit home when they talked about how encouraged they were of the many stories of people’s ah ha moments and the growth they have seen, but also how surprised they were at the people that were not meeting requirements to stay in the course.  I am afraid I fit into the latter category, but I will have that rectified before we resume in Dec.

Week eight was a week of connecting the dots for me; reinforcing the reasoning behind the exercises we have been given thus far.  Reviewing 5 of the 7 Laws of the Mind and associating them with our exercises was very enlightening. From week one designing our DMP’s, doing chores by a set time, applying colours and shape, learning to sit, relax and imagine, reading 3 times a day, etc I have been unknowingly using the proven Laws of the Mind.

The mental diet exercise and the opinion exercise have brought an awareness to me of the way I actually DO think.  The most humbling exercise for me is talking to the guy in the mirror, but it has been the most enlightening.  It has shown me that my actions do not always align with my good intentions.

I know that the only way to realize my desires and goals of my DMP is to learn to utilize my imagination, hold those images in my mind and the power of my subconscious mind will provide an action plan to manifest every detail.  This is the road I wish to travel, by the Law of Practice I will learn to stay out of the ditch.

Still Chipping  — I always keep my promises.

Master Key WK 7 — Idealize; Visualize; Materialize

The very first thing I need to do is to acknowledge the power found in the Scroll marked II in ” The Greatest Salesman in the World”;  ” I greet this day with love in my heart”.  I truly believe if the world would live by this one scroll, the results would be amazing.  I have noticed the difference in the way strangers I meet have reacted to me since reading this scroll.  I always get a smile, direct eye contact and quite often a greeting, either verbal or just a nod.  Love is truly a powerful force.

This week Haanel focuses on visualization.  There are three steps to achieving your DMP in life.  Step one is idealization, the most important step.  For without the plan of the finished product, we wonder aimlessly led by whatever influences cross our path, never headed toward an end result we desire.  Once we discover our plan by thinking of our true desire and purpose, and write it down, the process can begin to take shape.  Next, comes the process of visualization.  This is the process of picturing the finished product in your mind;  the person you have become along with realization of the finished plan you wrote down.  We must see the picture of the finished plan more and more complete in every detail; then and only then, will the means to manifest this plan become evident.

So often, in my life I have tried to think of ways to eliminate the lacks in my life.  I now understand that all I was doing was sending a message of not having to my subconscious mind, bringing more of what I did not want. By visualizing the abundant life that is now mine through faith, the “subby” has no choice but to manifest every detail of that life into existence.

Over Sixty years of cement to remove.  Feeling lighter everyday.
